I'm glad we spent the day looking at houses.

Estou feliz que passamos o dia olhando casas.

I'm excited for us to buy our first home!

Me too! Let's take a look at the pictures again and imagine what it would be like if we lived in each one.

This was the first one we saw.

Esta foi a primeira que vimos.

The location is great but  it is the most expensive one.  

A localização é ótima mas é a mais cara.

If we lived there I wouldn't have to drive so far to go to work every day.

Se morássemos lá eu não teria que dirigir tão longe pra ir trabalhar todo dia.

True, but I would have to hire cleaners every week. I don't think  I could clean it all myself. We do have two kids!

Verdade, mas eu teria que contratar faxineiras toda semana. Não acho que conseguiria limpar tudo sozinha. A gente tem dois filhos!

Yeah, we would need a gardener as well if we  wanted to keep the lawn looking nice.

É, a gente precisaria de um jardineiro também se quisesse manter o gramado bonito.

Did you see that backyard? It was enormous!

I agree.I think I would like this house more if it wasn't so big.

I loved that yard.

If we had a dog, it would be the perfect size for it to run around safely.

Se a gente tivesse um cachorro, seria o tamanho perfeito pra ele correr com segurança.

Oh, the kids would love it so much if we got a pet!

Ah, as crianças amariam tanto se a gente arranjasse um pet!

But I thought that the house itself would be too small for a dog.

Mas eu achei que a casa em si seria pequena demais para um cachorro.

You know what? I thought so too.

Did you notice how tiny the bathrooms were as well?

I didn't like them that much.

We would have to keep all of our toiletries in the hall closet.

Yeah, and if we wanted a third bedroom

we would have to renovate the basement.

teríamos que reformar o porão.

I would prefer it if we didn't have  to renovate so soon after buying it.

Okay, this house was the last one we  visited and i really liked the size of it.

And it's so close to a supermarket.

would fit perfectly in the living room.
