Bem-vindo ao parque das preposições!

Today's contestants will have to go into, out of, up, down and around

Os concorrentes de hoje vão ter que ir pra dentro, pra fora, pra cima, pra baixo e em volta

a variety of dangerous obstacles so YOU can  learn how to use prepositions of movement.

the contestants are about to start. Let's join them in the park!

os concorrentes estão prestes a começar. Vamos nos juntar a eles no parque!

The first challenge is to get across alligator river. Oooooooooohhh!

O primeiro desafio é atravessar (across) o rio dos jacarés. Oooooooooohhh!

Steph reaches the river first. She's taking  the bridge across the river.

Steph chega ao rio primeiro. Ela está pegando a ponte para atravessar o rio.

It's the easiest way across - but also the longest!

É a forma mais fácil de atravessar - mas também a mais longa!

Alan decided to swing across the river...

Alan decidiu balançar (swing across) pelo rio...

Hope he doesn't get bitten!

Espero que ele não seja mordido!

Jessica is taking the zip line across...

Jessica está pegando a tirolesa pra atravessar...

and she gets to the other side first!

e ela chega no outro lado primeiro!

Next, the contestants have to jump over the  three pits, each more dangerous than the last!

Em seguida, os concorrentes têm que pular sobre (over) os três fossos, cada um mais perigoso que o último!

Jessica jumps over the fire pit easily...

Jessica pula sobre o fosso de fogo facilmente...

...then the snake pit...

...depois o fosso das cobras...

Oooh, she landed in the quicksand!

Ooohh, ela aterrissou na areia movediça!

She'll have a hard time getting out of there.

Vai ter dificuldade pra sair (out of) de lá.

Alan is next.

Alan é o próximo.

He has an easy time jumping over the first two pits...

Ele tem facilidade em pular sobre os dois primeiros fossos...

and look at that!

e olha só!

He stopped to help Jessica out of the quicksand.

Ele parou pra ajudar Jessica a sair (out of) da areia movediça.

Meanwhile, Steph jumps over the fire pit easily.

Enquanto isso, Steph pula sobre o fosso de fogo facilmente.

Wait, what is she doing?

Espera, o que ela está fazendo?

She's going around the snake pit! Is that even allowed?

Ela está indo em volta (around) do fosso das cobras! Isso é permitido?

Uh oh! The snakes are slithering toward her  and she's running away from them fast!

Ai-ai! As cobras estão deslizando em direção a ela e ela está correndo pra longe (away from) delas rápido!

Run to the forest! Run!

Corre pra floresta! Corre!

Now for the third obstacle, Steph has to crawl under the electric wires,

Agora pro terceiro obstáculo, Steph tem que rastejar embaixo (under) dos fios elétricos,

then into one of the three dark pipes.

depois pra dentro (into) de um dos três tubos escuros.

Steph chooses pipe number one.

Steph escolhe o tubo número um.

She crawls into the pipe, followed by Alan, who chooses pipe number three,

Ela rasteja pra dentro (into) do tubo, seguida por Alan, que escolhe o tubo número três,

and Jessica is last to crawl under the wires, so she gets pipe number two!

e Jessica é a última a rastejar embaixo (under) dos fios, então ela pega o tubo número dois!

The contestants are all crawling through their pipes.

Os concorrentes estão todos rastejando através (through) dos tubos.

Jessica comes out of her pipe at the bottom of the mountain,

Jessica sai (out of) do tubo dela na base da montanha,

ready for the final challenge!

pronta pro desafio final!

Uh-oh! Alan has come out of the pipe  as well and into the dirty pond. Gross!

Ai-ai! Alan saiu (come out of) do tubo também e direto pra dentro do lago sujo. Que nojo!

Where is Steph?

Onde está Steph?

Oh there she is, coming out of pipe number one at the beginning.

Ah, lá está ela, saindo (coming out of) do tubo número um no início.

She chose poorly, and has to crawl into and through pipe number two.

Ela escolheu mal, e tem que rastejar pra dentro e através (into and through) do tubo número dois.

Jessica has started the final challenge, with Alan right behind her.

Jessica começou o desafio final, com Alan logo atrás dela.

They must climb up the mountain, and along the edge of a steep cliff.

Eles têm que escalar até o topo (up) da montanha, e ao longo (along) da beira de um penhasco íngreme.

They are both scared, but doing well!

Estão os dois assustados, mas indo bem!

Qops, Alan almost fell off of the cliff, but Jessica has saved him!

Ops, Alan quase caiu (off of) do penhasco, mas Jessica o salvou!

They're really looking out for each other.

Eles estão realmente cuidando um do outro.

Meanwhile, here comes Steph,

Enquanto isso, lá vem Steph,

up the mountain and along the cliff edge in a hurry.

subindo (up) a montanha e ao longo (along) da beira do penhasco com pressa.

Careful, girl!

Cuidado, garota!

They have gotten to the top, and there are three ways off of the mountain.

Eles chegaram ao topo, e há três formas de sair (off of) da montanha.

Alan chooses to fly off of the mountain,

Alan escolhe voar para fora (off of) da montanha,

and Jessica decides to ski down.

e Jessica decide esquiar pra baixo (down).

Steph is last, and she grabs a parachute.

Steph é a última, e ela pega um paraquedas.

Oh, it's a close race.

Ah, é uma corrida apertada.

All three are racing toward the finish line.

Os três estão correndo em direção (toward) à linha de chegada.

It's going to be close!

Vai ser apertado!

It's a photo finish. And the winner is...

É um photo finish. E o vencedor é...

It's incredible!

É incrível!

All three crossed the finish line at the exact same time!

Os três cruzaram a linha de chegada exatamente ao mesmo tempo!

We have three winners today!

Temos três vencedores hoje!

Our contestants are all going onto the podium together.

Nossos concorrentes estão todos subindo (onto) o pódio juntos.

What a beautiful moment!

Que momento lindo!

We're just glad they all survived!

Estamos só felizes que todos sobreviveram!
