Phrasal Verbs in English | Blow Up

Today we're going to look at five different meanings of the phrasal verb "to blow up". Let's go!

To blow something up can mean to inflate it, or fill it with air.  

"To blow something up" pode significar inflar, ou encher de ar.

You can blow up a balloon, a tire, or a floating toy for a swimming pool.

Ugh! Action movies are so predictable.

The second meaning of blow up is "to explode".

This is usually used for bombs

but there are also some things in your house that can blow up under heat or pressure,
